The problem with infants is that of course they cant tell us what's wrong when they present critically ill to the Emergency Department . To this end its really helpful to have a 'surgical sieve' approach (preferably with a catchy acronym). We are therefore really pleased to present THE MISFITS - which is such a guide - produced by our latest contributor Dr Ellen Duncan, Assistant Professor in Emergency Medicine and Paediatrics.
