Slipped capital femoral epiphysis should form part of the differential of the child presenting with a limp - but, how common is it, who is at risk and what are the risk factors for delay in diagnosis? This cohort study by Perry et al first published online in the Archives of Disease in Childhood looked at exactly these questions, which I have summarised in the above infographic.
